My name is Wema Nella, and I’m proud to call myself an artist, songwriter, and the CEO of Wema Entertainment. I was born in Tanzania, but my roots trace back to Burundi, which has profoundly influenced my music and perspective on life. From a young age, I felt an undeniable connection to music. It wasn't just a pastime for me; it was a calling. The melodies and lyrics that flowed through me fueled my passion and ignited a purpose I still hold dear today—sharing God's message and bringing light to those who may find themselves in dark places.

Growing up, I learned early on the power of music. It has an incredible ability to transform lives and uplift spirits. After graduating from high school, I decided to turn my passion into a profession. This led to the inception of Wema Entertainment, where I wear many hats while pursuing my vision. As the leader of my own company, I take pride in overseeing the talent recruiting division. I have the privilege of working with a diverse group of incredibly talented singers who share my mission. I’m not just their boss; I consider myself a mentor and a guide, leading with a collaborative spirit while making the decisions necessary to drive our creative journey.
Every day, I strive to ensure that the music we create under my label is meaningful and impactful. I believe that every song we produce has the potential to touch someone’s heart and help them find their way toward God. I encourage my artists to embrace their unique gifts and express themselves fully while keeping our collective mission at the forefront. My goal is to illuminate the lives of those who may be struggling and to remind them that even in their darkest moments, there is hope and a path forward.

As I continue on this journey, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to share my gifts with the world. My commitment to using music as a vehicle for positive change drives me every day.
